Shell brings product training onto the road with emotion

Shell has launched a Germany and France-wide roadshow to help independent car dealerships and automotive workshops increase their lubricant sales. To this end, a sporty showtruck that transforms into an exhibition pavilion in next to no time will make stopovers at Shell auto parts wholesalers.

The Shell roadshow team will present new marketing arguments and strategies to trade visitors and staff on-site. In addition to in-depth product information that is given within the truck, Shell will also offer visitors insight into how the oil business is expected to develop in the future.

Lubricant professionals benefit from the show truck

Wholesalers and auto workshops alike can no longer spare even one employee from the shop floor or sales department for an entire day of training. That’s why Shell takes the innovation truck directly to the hotspots that serve as ports of call for automotive professionals. Alternatively, the truck drives right up to the business grounds. Being able to provide their own staff with first hand information on new products this way saves lubricant customers a lot of time. And for the employees it offers a welcome change of pace from their standard duties.

Pure emotion on a grand tour

The PROMOSTAR showtruck is enroute for Shell sporting highly distinctive, full-size branding. The interior also has quite some emotion to offer visitors. Apart from the product range and training exponents “for that right touch of live experience”, there’s also a lot of enthusiasm for Shell as a brand for quality, high-performance lubricants. Indeed, a F1 racing simulator is on hand and allows visitors to complete against one another at each of the “pit stops“. What’s more, in the end, the victor gets a prize from the Shell Formula 1 Collection.
