Once a year the city of Riva, located at the northernmost point of Lake Garda, is firmly in the hands of ambitious mountain bikers. In fact, this year a new record was set as over 40.000 visitors flocked to the Ziener BIKE Festival Garda Trentino »powered by MINI«.

Record attendance was also noted at the Rocky Mountain BIKE Marathon – this event alone boasting 2.500 registrations and four distances to choose from. The marathon route takes bikers along public streets, agricultural roads, wood paths and hiking trails. The »Ronda Extrema«, covering 90.43 km and climbing to an altitude of 3.838 metres, poses the biggest challenge.

The expo grounds of the BIKE Festival, which attracted 150 exhibitors, also served as a meeting place for PROMOSTAR semi-trailers: The MINI Truck was also featured – branded all in black as usual. Its prominent location made it the perfect starting point for test drives with all the MINI models. KTM Bikes with its PROMOSTAR show-truck was also represented and made available a great number of new mountain bike models for test rides.

The outstanding manoeuvrability of MOST vehicles puts them in great demand – especially in the bicycle sector. In the meantime, since 2011, the ZEG has been using five PROMOSTAR semi-trailers for its test rides with e-bikes. Bike racing specialists such as ax Lightness, on the other hand, have been relying on the innovative FUTURIA Boxx.
